Our guidelines
The LiberaForms project adheres to these principles.
Licenses
LiberaForms is free digital culture. The code, licensed under the AGPLv3, is available on a public repository and can be installed and audited by anyone with the know-how. If not otherwise specified, texts and images are licensed in the CC BY-SA 4.0.
Modalities
Some free software projects come in different modalities, often as a stripped down community version and a payed version that includes extra functionality. LiberaForms comes in just one such modality so that everyone can benefit from the same functionality, regardless.
Digital commons
LiberaForms is community infrastructure built to be shared.
Our servers are available for everyone to publish forms, and we’re always happy to see other people deploying LiberaForms. We promote the decentralization of the web and digital resilience.
Ethical design
Technology often treats people as machines. At LiberaForms we treat ourselves and others as humans. We strive to create an honest, respectful, and easy to use software.

Communication
To inform and broadcast news about the project we use our own infrastructure such as this website and the blog. Our social media presence can be found on the Fediverse. We cannot be found on proprietary platforms.
We endorse the recommendations layed out by the Résistance à l’agression publicitaire (RAP).
Sustainability
LiberaForms aims to be sustainable through the services we offer and the donations you make. We do not receive money from venture capitalists and we are not a “start-up”.
